Hi, I’m LaTondra Murray — Welcome to my website and thanks for visiting! I want to help you do more of the work you love. As a career and life strategist, I can teach you how to apply practical techniques at work to get unstuck, find new energy and reboot your career to better align with your natural strengths and interests.
You can ‘engineer your bliss’ at work by taking intentional action to rise above the standard j-o-b.
Just like you and so many others, I found myself wondering how I could create and sustain a meaningful career while fully engaging in all of the other aspects of my life. If you’ve ever worried that success and contentment are mutually exclusive, you aren’t alone.
Boredom and mediocrity aren’t requisite for a fulfilling career.
I started leveraging specific tools to gain insights about my unique strengths that enable me to be happier, more effective and better aligned with my true purpose. You can likewise learn how to incorporate simple, proven practices into your everyday life to blend head and heart for powerful results.
My Brief Biography
I have 20+ years of leadership experience in large-scale technology-based corporate and academic environments. I’ve worked as a technologist for IBM and AT&T as well as other organizations. I made a purposeful, radical shift to leave Corporate America after 11 years for a role as an administrator and adjunct faculty member at a private university to better align my talents with leadership development for early-career technical professionals.
I embrace my inner geek, and I have a deeply rooted appreciation for all things related to technology. I enjoy making empirical research relevant and consumable. I also believe that self-reflection is the key to becoming our best, most authentic versions of who we’re meant to be.
If Oprah and Spock had a baby, it would totally be me. Seriously.
I am a Certified Personal and Executive Coach (CPEC) as well as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) approved by the ICF (International Coach Federation). I am also a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach, well-versed in the StrengthsFinder assessment. I have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering as well as undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
The bottom line is that I love learning new things and bringing out the best in others.
